Saponins and glycol components present in YuccaFresh bind with preformed ammonia present in water to form irreversible nitrogen complexes. YuccaFresh reduces the ammonia level for a shorter duration at any pH ranging from 6.5 to 9. YuccaFresh reduces stress and improves survivability.
